In alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 5400.17 and recent Executive Orders issued by the President, the U.S. Army has reviewed and adjusted its social media content to ensure compliance with DoD policies and priorities. Our saying in 2nd FRSD is “shared trauma”. This month we completed training at the Army Trauma Training Center in Miami, FL. The team fought through the rigors of training and ultimately came out successful. Many lessons were learned but most importantly, to trust and rely on your teammates.

Seven of our providers attended Tactical Combat Medical Care (TCMC) course from 13-17 November. They successfully showed off all they learned in the final cumulative event in two 4-person teams. Thanks for representing 2nd FRSD well!

Community outreach goes hand in hand with the Army Value, Selfless Service. This past month the Soldiers of 2nd FRSD had an opportunity to share our Army stories, lead a PT session, and speak with the Students of Atlas Preparatory School about medical careers within the Army. Thank you to the students, teachers, and staff for having us.
