◽ Approach: Cat utilizes a trauma-informed and person-centered lens to build trust and connection with her clients. She hopes to be a support and a collaborator as clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and what has shaped their lives.

Get to know Cat:

Q: What is your favorite dish/meal?
A: Any spicy/creamy pasta dish!

Q: If you could be an animal for a day, what would you be?
A: A horse for sure. I was a horse girl when I was younger and it would still be a dream of mine to be a horse for a day.

Q: Favorite concert you've been to?
A: Dermot Kennedy at Red Rocks in 2021! He had been my favorite artist for a while, and I had seen him in other venues, but getting to hear his poetic and powerful music in that beautiful outdoor amphitheater was an unforgettable experience.

Q: Who is your favorite fictional character?
A: I recently read the book All the Light We Cannot See and loved getting to know the character Marie-Laure. She faced so many challenges throughout her life, but refused to let these events steal her joy. She continued to fight injustice, show compassion, and instill hope in those around her, even in devastating circumstances.

Q: What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
A: Getting outside is a priority for me to feel refreshed on a day off! I love to adventure with my dog Arlo in the mountains, spend quality time with my partner, drink coffee with friends, eat good food, go rock climbing, and occasionally stay home to do nothing more than watch a show or get lost in a good book.

What to eat? How much to eat? When to eat? -- Eating in recovery can feel overwhelming! 😵‍💫

It's no secret that navigating the world of food can be especially challenging for folks in recovery. We understand that adding a dietitian to your treatment team might not be feasible right now, so why not join us for a candid conversation with Bloom's dietitian?

While a group chat is no substitute for 1:1 care with an RD, this group is designed for folx who have not had access to nutrition care or those who have questions to bring to a supportive environment.

We’ll talk through what a "meal plan" even means, bust some diet culture myths, and explore how you can start to practice gentle nutrition – all for free! Bring your questions, concerns, or just your curiosity, and let's create a safe space to discuss all things food. We can't wait to see you there!

Bloom therapists Erin and Emily wrote this post just for you. There’s no “right” way to respond in this conversation, so this post offers some things to consider as you’re thinking through making the best next step for YOU.
