🥵 HOT WEATHER = MORE FREQUENT FEEDINGS

The best rule of thumb when out in the heat with your little one — When in doubt, offer a feeding!

The more baby is able to drink, the less likely they are to become dehydrated. Remember that body temperature regulation means you & baby may be sweating. In order to prevent dehydration, fluid replacement is necessary. Ensure you are also staying hydrated yourself. While your body will adapt to baby’s needs, you may be more depleted as a result.

💧In addition, please remember little ones < 6 months of age should NOT be drinking water.💧
🧴Also, < 6 month old should NOT be wearing sunscreen!

So if you plan to be out in the sun ☀️ please plan accordingly!

This means wearing appropriate protective clothing for baby (sunscreen in > 6 months old) and packing a breathable nursing cover if you want one so baby can nurse as often as desired.
