ChildSafe Colorado provides safe, effective treatment, education and recovery from childhood trauma

ChildSafe provides therapy for victims of childhood trauma resulting from sexual abuse or neglect. We are staffed by highly trained therapists serving Larimer County, Colorado and surrounding areas. We provide Northern Colorado's only comprehensive outpatient treatment program for victims and their families. Our program combines group, individual and family therapy to heal the trauma of sexual abuse and other types of childhood trauma.

A few words from newly elected 2026 ChildSafe Board President Rawls Weber ...

I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. Those words are not easy to write but I share them because healing from this kind of trauma is not something anyone should have to do alone. Therapy quite literally saves lives — it offers survivors a place to reclaim our voices, rebuild trust, and learn that what happened to us does not define who we are.
When we invest in therapy for survivors, we are not just treating trauma — we are restoring lives. We are helping people break cycles of silence and pain that can echo through generations. We are saying to survivors everywhere: You matter. You deserve help. You deserve healing.
Please stand with me in supporting the work ChildSafe does, and has been doing for 40 years. Healing is possible, but it takes courage, compassion, and community. Together, we can make sure no survivor ever has to heal alone.
