🍀 Clover Crawl at Affinity! 🍀

Our Happy Hour last week turned into a merry little adventure with our Clover Crawl!

Residents followed playful leprechaun footprints from room to room, each stop bringing a new sip, a new laugh, and maybe a wee bit of Irish luck.

☘️Along the way we enjoyed Irish Whiskey Jell-O Shots, the colorful End of the Rainbow Cosmo, Leprechaun Margaritas, and of course plenty of Green Beer and Green Wine to keep spirits high. 🌈🍹

With lively tunes, shamrocky decorations, and a building full of smiling faces, it felt like a proper Irish celebration. The only thing missing was a real leprechaun—but judging by the footprints, we’re pretty sure one stopped by!

Sláinte to good friends, good cheer, and a little mischief along the way! 🍻☘️

🎬✨ Lights, camera… community!

At Affinity at Fort Collins, our theater is so much more than just a place to watch a movie — it’s a place where neighbors gather, laugh, learn, and share experiences together.

On Monday nights, the big screen comes alive with our weekly movie nights, while Wednesday afternoons bring cozy movie matinees. Later, the theater transforms again for our Wednesday night operas, where residents can enjoy beautiful performances right from their seats. But the fun doesn’t stop there!

The theater is also a favorite spot for watching big games, community meetings, special presentations, and all kinds of gatherings that bring our community together.

From popcorn and movies to music and meaningful conversations, our theater is always buzzing with something exciting. It’s just one more way life at Affinity keeps the fun rolling and the friendships growing. 🍿🎭

Our brand-new tables and chairs have arrived, and we couldn’t be more excited!

These additions help create an even more welcoming and comfortable atmosphere in the lobby—perfect for gathering, chatting with neighbors, or simply relaxing with a cup of coffee.

Even better, the new setup opens up more seating for our card players, making it easier for everyone to join in on their favorite games.

Stop by, take a seat, and enjoy the refreshed space. We can’t wait to see the lobby filled with conversation, laughter, and plenty of friendly competition!

We had such a special afternoon on Friday, February 27th with the incredibly talented students from the CSU School of Music, Theatre, and Dance!

They performed a beautiful and imaginative interpretation ,created by Professor Madeline Jazz Harvey, of the children’s book "The Wild Little Horse".The performance was full of creativity, storytelling, and heart — our residents were completely captivated!

After the show, the students spent time chatting with residents, sharing laughs, and connecting across generations. Then it was time to get moving! Everyone broke into two groups to participate in Dance Flow and Jazzercise, bringing energy, smiles, and plenty of fun.

We are so grateful for this wonderful partnership and the joy these students bring to our community. The best part? They’ll be back in April for another performance and more time to move and groove with our residents. We can’t wait! 💃🎶

Our Happy Hour was heating up on February 26th at our annual Chili Cook-Off — and WOW, did our community bring the flavor! 🌶️🔥

With 8 incredible chilis in the running and a delicious spread of cornbreads, cinnamon rolls, and other homemade goodies, it was a true comfort-food celebration. From mild and savory to bold and spicy, the variety was amazing — each recipe brought something unique to the table, and every bite was packed with tastiness.

After lots of sampling (and maybe a few second helpings 😉), our winners were crowned:

🥈 2nd Place: Jenny
🥉 3rd Place: Karl

Congratulations to our winners and a huge thank you to everyone who cooked, baked, tasted, and voted. Events like this remind us that the secret ingredient is always community! ❤️

🎭💜💚💛 Mardi Gras at Affinity at Fort Collins was a blast! 💛💚💜🎭

We brought the spirit of the French Quarter right to our community with festive hurricanes, delicious king cake, and fresh beignets from Lucile’s Creole Cafe — a true crowd favorite!

A huge thank you to Premier Insurance for hosting a creative mask-making table that added extra sparkle and fun to the celebration. With great music, lots of laughter, and an unbeatable vibe, it was a perfect way to celebrate together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this Mardi Gras party so memorable! 🎉✨

❤️Love was in the air a little early this year when we kicked off Valentine’s Day celebrations at our Thursday Happy Hour in the Dilly Dally Pub at Affinity at Fort Collins — and it was the sweetest afternoon!

Residents gathered for festive drinks, tasty treats, and plenty of laughter. From pink and red décor to heartfelt conversations and lots of smiles, it was the perfect way to celebrate friendship, community, and a little extra love.

At Affinity, every happy hour is special — but celebrating Valentine’s Day together makes it even better. Cheers to good friends, great neighbors, and a community that feels like home! 🥂

Tailgate Happy Hour Recap! 🍔🏈

What a blast at our Tailgate Happy Hour Potluck this past Thursday, Feb. 5th! From delicious eats to great company and serious team spirit, everyone brought their A-game (and their best dishes) as we fired up the excitement for Super Bowl Sunday!
