Nik wants to live in a world where therapy clients get the care they deserve and have paid for, where ice cream and dark chocolate are rightfully recognized as their own food groups and one day to be able to greet the world wearing a jacket without dog hair on it. As an orthopedic occupational therapist, he’s lectured and taught at the annual national conference for the American Society for Hand Therapists, has been invited to present at regional specialty rehabilitation conferences, on a diverse range of topics from management of cervical spine disorders to thumb injuries. He is a published author and educator in mobilization of the peripheral nervous system. When he’s not treating patients, you can find him in the mountains of Colorado- snowboarding, rock climbing or hiking with his wife, Jodie Bell an accomplished yoga instructor who owns www.BelleYoga.com or telling their 3 dogs Luna, Lila and Indigo “no” for the millionth time. His latest project — Allain Therapy Services — is a private orthopedic therapy practice providing a comprehensive approach to care for clients on a private pay basis. This ensures affordable, confidential, high value and high quality care for his clients in Fort Collins, Colorado and surrounding areas.
