A couple of weeks ago, I had such an amazing and heartfelt trip back to the place of my very first RN job on L&D in Tallahassee, FL over 30 years ago. I’ve realized what a profound impact the people I worked with had on me in molding me into the nurse. Nurse-midwife, and person I am today. We stayed with one of my besties, Pilar Erstling. Had a marvelous dinner reunion with a few of my former nurse colleagues: Gloria Boisvert, Kathy Hartley, and Heidi Chavers, and I was also gifted with the opportunity to see Dr.’s AD and AJ Brickler (2 of 3 of the doctors with whom I’ve worked closest to my heart throughout my career). Pilar went with us on an overnight trip over to St Augustine, and I also got to see Dana Moxley and her sweet hubby In Jacksonville on the way back to Tally. Thank you all for the blessed influence and friendship you’ve had (and still have) in my life!!!!
