We loved hosting a special marketing event this week themed “Color Me Calm.” 🎨🍷 With Mediterranean music and wine setting the mood, guests and residents enjoyed a relaxing evening exploring beautiful artwork and meaningful connections. A truly serene and memorable night

Residents enjoyed a fascinating MSU class this week featuring an interpretive nature program all about penguins 🐧🌍 The engaging presentation sparked curiosity, learning, and plenty of smiles—it was a big hit with everyone who attended!

We’re kicking off a brand-new semester of MSU — MorningStar University, celebrating continued learning, creativity, and growth for all! 🎓✨

Here’s a look at Part 1 of our MSU class as residents put a fun twist on a Valentine’s favorite—tie-dye pillowcases using ice and powder dye. After soaking the pillowcases in soda ash, everyone crinkled, tied, and designed their fabric to reflect their own unique creativity. Then came the magic: ice, RIT dye, and time. As the ice melts, the colors blend and saturate the fabric in beautifully unexpected ways!

This classic hobby with a creative twist has been so much fun—and we can’t wait to share the final results soon! (And yes… Ron came fully prepared with his own apron 😄)

This year, our community created Christmas ornaments for hospice to share with their patients—hoping to bring a little cheer and inspiration to their days. Our residents also crafted beautiful cards filled with heartfelt messages and artwork. ❤️

Families joined our residents last Friday to decorate gingerbread houses together. Bristol Hospice helped make the afternoon extra special by hosting a holiday café, complete with hot chocolate and all the toppings. Everyone had a wonderful time creating their festive masterpieces to the sound of Christmas music!
