Many of you had the chance to meet Dr. Meredith Burns while she covered for Dr. Megna during her maternity leave from June through the end of October — and she fit in like a hand in a glove! 🧤💙

🪶 BREAKING BIRD NEWS FROM SHORES FAMILY DENTISTRY! 🪶

Today, our resident birdwatcher Annie was sure she had spotted the elusive Scromblebuck—a bird so rare, it’s practically dental-office folklore. 👀

Armed with her trusty binoculars and an impeccable sense of ornithological duty, she scanned the trees outside our lakeside windows. After several tense moments (and one false alarm involving a passing Canada goose), Annie finally confirmed the sighting!

Her field notes described the Scromblebuck as “feathery, fabulous, and oddly familiar.” Turns out… it was Amanda, perfectly disguised as the bird itself! 🐦✨

At SFD, we take both dental care and birdwatching very seriously. Happy Halloween from your favorite flock!

Our team really brought the creativity this year with our “Tooth Fairy”-themed pumpkin decorating contest — and wow, did our patients have fun voting! 👏✨

🏆 1st Place: Annie
🥈 2nd Place: Rebecca (so close!)
🥉 3rd Place: Dr. Burns — who couldn’t be here to pose with her pumpkin, but still brought the sparkle!

We loved seeing everyone’s imagination shine through — from glittery wings to magical smiles, every pumpkin was a masterpiece! 💫

This was such a hit, we’ve decided to make it an annual tradition!
