Antoinestale

Antoinestale Antoine and his specially-abled pack face adversity with incredible resiliency and dogged determination. His book and stuffie are available in link below.

Follow along for their healing journeys, adventures about the farm, and pack pet therapy visits. Antoine’s journey is one of love, determination and friendship. Born with rigid paralysis of his hind legs—a complication of the infection Neospora, Antoine was rescued by Janet Curran, a longtime animal advocate in Kansas, and brought to Colorado State University for treatment. His subsequent rehabilitation led him to Connie Fredman’s Canine Health Resort in Colorado where he learned to walk again. Now his life is now filled with playful days, continued rehabilition and giving back to others as therapy dog.

This past Friday we had a high wind event with gusts up to 65 mph and the wlnd continued through the weekend. Luckily we only sustained one downed satellite dish here on the farm. How goes winter 2026 in your neck of the woods?

Video description: Simon a 9 1/2 year-old fawn colored Great Dane is rolling through windy day in his custom made wheelchair. His little brother Gonzo has a neurological condition known as cerebellar hypoplasia, and joins us on our windswept walk.

That beautiful yellow lab breaking the ice is our former foster Lulu! She came here from a puppy mill when she was severely overweight. She slimmed down nicely after months of chasing the boys around the farm. “Lu” was adopted to a dear friend of ours so she visits the farm often.

That’s bossy Banks stealing Deacon’s stick. Banks, a Belgian Tervuran, came to stay with us a few months ago after her owner could no longer care for her. She was born with a calcium deficiency that has caused her current orthopedic issues. Although neither seem to be slowing her down one bit.
