I later found the Healing Touch Program and was certified as a practitioner in 1996 and as an instructor in 1998. I took my first class in Therapeutic Touch in 1989, and knew in my heart that I had found a way of expressing some long forgotten part of myself. I found my way to the Healing Touch Program and felt like I had "come home". I was certified as a practitioner in 1996 and as an instructor in 1998. I have a private practice in Fort Collins, Co., and teach Levels 1, 2, and 3. I was instrumental in getting Healing Touch into the curriculum at Front Range Community College in Fort Collins and taught the first class in 1999-2000 school year. I resigned my position at FRCC in 2011 but returned in 2013 and I'm still teaching there today. I am a charter member of the Healing Touch Program Association and have a wide range of experience in my Healing Touch practice. I work with clients who are seeking healing on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. A large portion of my practice has been helping those in emotional crisis. With deep compassion and understanding of the human spirit, I assist my clients on their healing journey. I helped form the Northern Colorado Healing Touch Networking Group and am a Qualified Mentor for Healing Touch students. I was a resource to staff and students at the Student Health Center, where I worked until June of 2005, when I retired from a 30 year career as a records administrator. In October of 2005, I helped create the Twin Flames Production Corporation and am actively involved in the production of beautiful, healing music by a local musician and now my husband, Steve Skudler. Through my Healing Touch practice and my teaching, I combine my knowledge of energy medicine and my intuitive skills. I have found the perfect way to use my belief in guidance, my belief that all healing is self healing, my belief in the healing power of music, and the knowledge that I am happiest when in service to others.
