We’re sending a huge thank you to the Once Upon A Child - Centennial, CO community for their continued support! 💛 For years, they have faithfully donated children’s clothing and essential baby items to Catholic Charities Marisol Services—and this time they went above and beyond. Their “Bring a Gift, Get a Gift” event invited customers to donate new baby supplies in exchange for a discount while shopping in the store and the response was incredible. Thanks to their generosity, we received diapers, breast pumps, baby bath tubs and so much more—all of which will support moms at upcoming baby showers at Catholic Charities Marisol Homes. Marisol Homes provides safe, secure shelter for pregnant women and single mothers with children, offering maternity care, case management, child care support and classes that help families build stability and confidence as they begin a new chapter. Our team loved being onsite (cupcakes included!) to thank Kris, the store owner and meet the amazing customers who donated. We’re truly grateful for partners who champion mothers, babies and families we serve. 🍼✨

Five of our incredible volunteers arrived at Catholic Charities Marisol Health Northern Colorado with joyful hearts and a mission: wrap 48 baby shower gifts for Baby B — and they finished in just 30 minutes! From there, they transformed the space for a special celebration the next morning, adding thoughtful touches of pink for a family of six (mom, dad and four energetic boys ages 1–7) preparing to welcome their first baby girl👩‍🍼. At Marisol Health, we provide women’s health care, counseling and family support services — including gynecological, prenatal, delivery and postpartum care — all in a compassionate, welcoming environment. A simple diaper can make a big difference for a family. Through Catholic Charities Marisol Family Bottom Line Diaper Bank, we distribute more than two million diapers each year across Colorado, helping families care for their babies with dignity and stability. The Southeast Metro Homeschoolers Book Co-op is spreading comfort in the sweetest way. 🧸 After reading Pocket Bear by Katherine Applegate, 10 students (ages 7–11) felt inspired to make a real difference for children arriving at Catholic Charities Samaritan House and Marisol Homes. Each student donated a stuffed animal from their own collection — and even gathered more from friends and neighbors — to support Catholic Charities Cozy Companion Drive. Their group leader, Angelique Airington, lovingly collected and cleaned every stuffed friend before donating them to help bring comfort to kids who need it most. Our Cozy Companion Drive exists because when children arrive at our shelters, they’re often tired, overwhelmed or scared. A simple stuffed animal can ease their stress and remind them they’re safe. Anne, one of our Catholic Charities Marisol Health certified nurse midwives shares three things every pregnant woman should know: 1) You deserve to feel safe and heard by your provider — and if you don’t, it’s okay to find a new one. 2) Trust your maternal instinct and do your research. 3) Remember your body is going through a lot physically and emotionally, so give yourself grace. At Catholic Charities Marisol Health, we support women and families with compassionate gynecological, prenatal, delivery and postpartum care, along with behavioral health therapy, counseling and family support. Since opening in 2016, we’ve expanded to two locations in Denver and Fort Collins, launched our Marisol Health Mobile clinic to reach underserved areas across Northern Colorado and served more than 7,875 patients with a 99% satisfaction rate.
