Animal Flow has been a regular practice for two years now. This video was about a year in. 😯
Some days I still feel like a beginner and other days I notice the progress.🥰
I crave AF because the more I do it, the better I feel. I sleep better, have less joint pain, move easier and with more confidence, have more energy, feel younger , and actually crave gym time.💓
Exercise used to fill me with anxiety.😰
It's not touted as a healing practice, but Animal Flow for sure is one. ❤️

Mmm...butt stuff. And more split squats! This time to the side.
I ignored building a strong backside for most of my life, which led to a lot of knee and low-back pain. Both those suck.
Now I think about my butt all the time and life is so much easier!

Climbing is one of the most functional exercises I can think of. It's not just about climbing; it's about pulling yourself up off the ground, maintaining balance when things are precarious, finding your breath when you're panicked, and digging deeper so you can hang on just a little longer.

Split squats have become my favorite thing for hip, knee, ankle, and foot mobility. They're also fantastic for building glutes, strengthening the knees, and relieving low back pain.

This version of the Bulgarian Split Squat is focused on ankle, knee, and hip mobility.
Practice with and without weights. Sometimes a little load can help us with balance and depth.

Movement 3 of 3 focuses on the hips and SI joint. The action of squeezing the block (or couch pillow) between your knees creates space in your hips.
There's some magic to just laying in this position for 20-30 minutes too, so maybe throw on a show if you get bored.
