It’s almost May! 💜

We would like to remind everyone to consider Mothers who are currently in hospitals with their sick and recovering children this Mother’s Day. Perhaps take a moment on this special day to bring some cheer. Although we are not operating this year, we would like to provide suggestions on how you can make a difference, in every state and hospital possible.

You can contact the hospital volunteer association or associated office to inquire about their gift acceptance policies and procedures. Consider putting together gift bags that Motherers can use in the future or appreciate the thought. Some ideas for items to include in the gift bags are:

🌷warm lap blanket
🌼coffee tumbler
💐water bottle
🌷food gift card (Panera, Starbucks, GrubHub, DoorDash)
🌼nail polish
novels (recent fiction, romantic comedies, non-fiction – something a mother would enjoy reading)
💐charging cords for phones (including 3-way cords for various phone types)
🌷toiletry kits with shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, etc.
🌼Target, Walmart or similar gift card
💐small Tupperware with lid to help them save and microwave meals
🌷colored pens and grown-up coloring book
🌼fuzzy socks or slippers

Hello everyone!

As of last year, Celebrating Supermoms has had their last event. We appreciate your continued and AMAZING support throughout our 9 years. In that time we’ve gifted more than 1800 Mothers at 3 separate, local hospitals. It warms our hearts to know this and you are greatly appreciated!

Perhaps take it upon yourselves to remember these special Moms on Mother’s Day at your local hospitals, and bring them some cheer where you’re able. We know it means a great deal to them and is often an unexpected surprise that brings grateful tears. It’s a blessing to see and experience!

PEAK Parent Center's work is focused on helping those with disabilities live rich, active lives participating as full members of their schools and communities.

July is a an opportunity to honor the disability community, reflect on how far we have come and the work that is before us. It is truly an honor to be part of the strides toward a more inclusive society. Together we can continue to move forward.

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to take a moment and humbly ask for your help. I need your votes in a contest that could be very helpful to our family and this project. It is a Supermom contest and the winner receives $20K, a trip to Palm Springs California and will be featured in Woman’s World Magazine. These prizes would help us:

❣️ Make a down payment on a home that is accessible for my daughter Lily, and step-daughter, Elli 🏡

❣️ Have a chance to relax and rejuvenate after Lily’s recent and difficult, 3-month hospital stay ☀️

❣️Have a wonderful opportunity to share about this project & Secret Sleigh Project, where we provide in-home Santa visits, free of charge, to children all over the U.S. who have special and/or medical needs🎅🏼🤶🏻

This contest also supports a cause through fundraising, which is very near to our hearts, Childrens Hospital!! 🎉💜It was a good event!! Mom’s shopped and stuffed their gift bags, and we were also able to deliver to the rooms! We sure appreciate our volunteers, supporters and donors today! Thank you!! Stay tuned for next year - our TENTH YEAR!!! 💜🎉
