As part of the Narconon program the students write down all of the past transgressions and secrets connected to these, to their relief. This is referred to as writing Overts and Withholds and concerns any and all sectors of the student’s life.

To assist the individual to come off drugs as rapidly and comfortably as possible, the Narconon program begins with a drug-free, withdrawal process. One of the major accomplishments of this first step of the program is the ability of the student to eat and sleep properly.
