You made it to Friday. πŸŽ‰
For some people, that's a bigger deal than it sounds. If this week was heavy β€” if you're carrying grief, anxiety, the weight of past experiences β€” getting through it took real strength, even if it didn't feel that way.
The weekend is a good time to rest, but it's also a good time to think about what kind of support you want going into next week.
We have immediate openings and accept Medicaid. Starting your healing journey doesn't have to wait until "the right time." This could be it. πŸ’™βœ¨

Asking for help is one of the hardest things a person can do β€” especially when trauma has taught you that people aren't safe or that your needs don't matter.
If picking up the phone feels like a big deal, that's because it is. It takes real courage.
We want to make that step as easy as possible. We have immediate openings, we accept Medicaid, and we will meet you with warmth and without judgment from the very first conversation.
You've made it this far. You can do this. πŸ”₯

Midweek reminder: healing is not linear.
Some days you'll feel like you've made huge strides. Other days something small will take you right back to a place you thought you'd left behind. Both of those days are part of the process β€” and both are completely valid.
What matters is that you're not doing it alone.
We have immediate openings and we accept Medicaid. Whether you're just starting out or have been on this road for a while, there's a place for you here. 🌊

Something we say often here: what happened to you matters.
Trauma has a way of making people feel like they're "too sensitive," "overreacting," or that they should just be over it by now. That couldn't be further from the truth.
Your nervous system remembers. Your body keeps score. And healing starts with someone who actually believes you.
We have immediate openings and accept Medicaid so access to real, compassionate care doesn't have to be a barrier. Reach out today. πŸ’›

The week is just beginning β€” and so is the possibility for something different.
Trauma doesn't always look like a crisis. Sometimes it shows up as exhaustion you can't explain, relationships that feel harder than they should, or a sense that something is just... off.
You deserve support that actually understands that.
We have immediate openings right now, and we proudly accept Medicaid. You don't have to wait, and you don't have to figure out how to afford it. Just reach out β€” we're ready when you are. πŸ’™

When you're overwhelmed, your brain needs signals that you're safe. One of the fastest ways to do that? Engage your senses.
Pick one (or more) to try this weekend:
β˜• Smell β€” Light a candle, smell coffee, step outside for fresh air
🎡 Sound β€” Listen to calming music, nature sounds, or silence
🧸 Touch β€” Hold something soft, take a warm shower, wrap up in a blanket
πŸ‘€ Sight β€” Look at photos that bring you peace, watch the clouds, dim the lights
πŸ˜‹ Taste β€” Sip tea slowly, eat something mindfully, savor a favorite treat
These aren't distractions β€” they're tools that help regulate your nervous system when it's stuck in fight-or-flight.
Learning what soothes you is an important part of healing. Our therapists can help you build a personalized toolkit.
We have immediate openings and accept Medicaid. You deserve support that works for you. πŸ’™

Quick check-in: How are you actually feeling right now?
Not "fine." Not what you think you should feel. What's really going on underneath?
Try this:
β†’ Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths
β†’ Notice what emotion is present (it's okay if there's more than one)
β†’ Where do you feel it in your body?
β†’ Can you name it without judging it?
You don't have to fix it or change it. Just notice it. Acknowledging what you feel is the first step to processing it.
Sometimes the hardest emotions need more support to move through. Our therapists specialize in helping you understand and work with your feelings - not push them away.
We have immediate openings and accept Medicaid. 🌿

Notice how stress lives in your body? Tight shoulders. Clenched jaw. Tension you didn't even realize you were carrying.
Try this quick body release:
β†’ Start with your toes β€” tense them for 5 seconds, then release
β†’ Move up to your calves, thighs, stomach, hands, arms, shoulders, jaw
β†’ Tense each area for 5 seconds, then let go completely
β†’ Notice the difference between tension and relaxation
Your body holds onto stress even when your mind doesn't realize it. Releasing that tension physically can help you feel calmer mentally.
If stress feels like it's taking over, therapy can help. We have immediate availability and accept Medicaid.
You deserve to feel at ease in your own body. πŸ’™

When your thoughts are spiraling or you feel disconnected, grounding brings you back to the present moment.
Try the 5-4-3-2-1 technique:
πŸ‘€ Name 5 things you can see
🀚 Name 4 things you can touch
πŸ‘‚ Name 3 things you can hear
πŸ‘ƒ Name 2 things you can smell
πŸ‘… Name 1 thing you can taste
This works because it shifts your focus from what's happening in your head to what's happening right here, right now.
Grounding isn't about making hard feelings disappear - it's about helping you feel safe enough to face them.
Our therapists can teach you more techniques like this. We have immediate openings and proudly accept Medicaid. 🌱

Feeling anxious or overwhelmed? Try this right now:
Box Breathing (4-4-4-4)
β†’ Breathe in for 4 counts
β†’ Hold for 4 counts
β†’ Breathe out for 4 counts
β†’ Hold for 4 counts
β†’ Repeat 4 times
This simple technique calms your nervous system in under 2 minutes. You can do it anywhere β€” at your desk, in your car, before bed.
Your body has the power to calm your mind. Sometimes you just need the right tools.
πŸ’™ If you're looking for more support, we have immediate openings and accept Medicaid. You don't have to navigate stress alone.

Sunday thought: What if you talked to yourself the way you talk to someone you love?
Most of us would never say the harsh things to a friend that we say to ourselves daily. We'd never expect them to be perfect, to never struggle, to have it all figured out.
So why do we hold ourselves to that standard?
This week, try this: Notice when that critical voice shows up. Then ask yourself β€” would I say this to someone I care about?
If the answer is no, you deserve better than that too.
Therapy can help you learn to be kinder to yourself. We have immediate openings and accept Medicaid. 🌱

Your body remembers what your mind tries to forget.
That knot in your stomach when you hear a certain tone of voice. The way your heart races over something that "shouldn't" be a big deal. The shutdown that happens when you feel overwhelmed.
These aren't overreactions. They're your nervous system's way of trying to keep you safe based on what it learned from past experiences.
The good news? Your nervous system can learn new patterns. With trauma-informed therapy, you can teach your body that it's safe to relax, to feel, to trust again.
We have immediate openings and proudly accept Medicaid. Healing starts with understanding. 🌿
