Our story


The inspiration for of The Healing Gardens
Having studied extensively with leading physicians and tribal medicine practitioners, Dr. Jacqueline Fields envisioned creating a holistic integrative health center to unite the best of medicine and healing traditions from around the world. This vision became reality in 2003, when she founded The Healing Gardens, a healthcare ecosystem in Fort Collins, Colorado, that has grown to include the Health Center, Medicinal Store, Living Arts Center, The Foundation, and the Dr. Fields' Sacred Skin product line. The Healing Gardens was created with intention to bring great healing hands and hearts together. Our practitioners hold the vision here to create a sacred space of healing, clarity and connection. When we hold this vision together, it magnifies the intensity. The Gardens at the point of The Healing Gardens property hold the space for pause and reflection. The Medicine Wheel honors the true healers, our plants and medicines, and the earth that nourishes us all. Mark your calendar, September 16, 2025 Echolight Bone Scan will be at the office. Echo light is a more comprehensive test than DXA because it tells us the quality of your bone, not just quantity. This distinction gives us more information on how to support your bone health. You do not have to be a patient of The Healing Gardens and you don’t need an order to have this test. Results are given the same day.
