Gratitude to my colleague Thomas Leung of Kamwo Herbs in NYC for getting the New York Times to shed light on this potentially catastrophic issue.

If you are on our email list, you know that the 145% tariffs on imports from China include Chinese Herbs. This trade war is a serious and imminent threat to CMD Skin Solutions.

We, and all practitioners of Chinese Medicine across the nation, are struggling to save our businesses.

Dispensary owners say a protracted trade war would harm a niche but popular sector in which imported herbs are prescribed to treat colds, pain and other ailments.

You'll never find formaldehyde (or any formaldehyde-producing ingredients) in our CMD Skin products.

And beware - it may not always say "formaldehyde" on the label. Check out the photo in the comments for other names it may get listed as.
