Midwest Foot and Ankle Center would like to welcome our new podiatrist, Dr. Madison Leyk, DPM🦶🏻

We are so happy to have her be apart of our team & cannot wait to see all of the great things she does!

Dr. Leyk completed her medical degree at the Arizona College of Podiatric Medicine in Glendale, Arizona and completed her surgical residency at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is excited to return to Iowa, where she spent most of her childhood, and be closer to family. She offers a wide variety of foot and ankle care, and is excited to bring minimally invasive bunion and hammertoe correction to the community.

Outside of work she enjoys kayaking and paddle boarding with her husband, crafting with her cricut, or walking their dog. 💙

Congratulations are in order🎉🎉

We are proud to announce that Dr. Sukovaty has accomplished board certification by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery® (ABFAS) in not only Foot Surgery but also board certification in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery as well. This is a major professional and career milestone!

She was already board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM), so she is now double board certified, by both ABPM and ABFAS (in both foot AND reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery).
The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery® is considered the highest benchmark, certifying exceptionally skilled podiatrists in foot and ankle surgery in diagnosing and treating a vast range of disorders/deformities. This board continues to ensure excellence in podiatric surgical care. ABFAS Board Certification can take up to seven years to complete and is split into two categories: Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. The process started with ABFAS board qualification for each respective categories. Surgeons must undergo the rigorous process of testing and case review for each to become board certified in each respective category.

This is a rigorous process that Dr. Sukovaty has now completed BOTH Foot Surgery as well as Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. She has accomplished this all while continuing to provide compassionate and individualized care to her patients, teaching our residents, sitting on the Board of Directors for the Iowa Podiatric Medical Society, sitting on the Iowa Podiatric Licensing Board, and being a mom of two busy toddlers.

Jodi is one of our Receptionist! She brings 25 years of medical experience with her!
