Even the most competent swimmer needs a break from swimming, but they may still want to be in the pool having fun. Swimming takes a lot of hard work and energy, after all! And as a parent/caregiver, you may need a break from holding your child in the water, too.
Consider using a pool float your child can lay or sit on top of so their legs do not dangle down in the vertical (aka the drowning) position. Mesh bottom rafts allow your child to still feel wet in the water while staying on top of the raft.
** Remember to always use caution when pool floats are in the pool. **
🔹Adult supervision is vital, especially to watch that swimmers don't get stuck underneath of the floats.
🔹Stay in the pool within arms length of your non swimmers.
🔹Remove pool floats from the pool when they’re not in use.
