"The Patience of the Crane"

In a land where rivers hummed and winds sang softly through tall grasses,
there lived the crane — tall, graceful, and quiet.

While other birds flitted and chirped, chasing every passing breeze,
the crane stood still.

"Why do you wait so long?" the sparrow asked.
"The worms will hide, the fish will swim away."

But the crane only smiled, his eyes soft like twilight.
"Good things do not always come to those who rush," he whispered.

The sun rose and fell.
Storms came and passed.
Still, the crane waited — calm, certain, and unmoved.

When the waters stilled and the ripples faded,
