To all of our amazing kiddos and families ❤️

The last couple of weeks have marked the end of another school year for so many of our kids. We were lucky enough to celebrate alongside some of you at awards assemblies, graduations, and special school events, but we want all of you to know just how proud we are of you.

We see the hard work that happens behind the scenes every single day.
The extra effort.
The big emotions.
The courage it takes to keep trying.
The growth that others may not always notice but we do.

And parents… we see you too.
The advocating, encouraging, practicing, supporting, showing up, and loving your children through every challenge and every win.

It is such a privilege to watch each child grow in their own unique way, at their own pace, and become more confident in who they are. ❤️

We hope you all enjoy a fun, restful, memory-filled summer.
Take a moment to pat yourselves on the back because you truly should be proud of all the hard work you’ve done this year. ☀️💛

April is Occupational Therapy Month

At The Therapy House, OT is about so much more than what you see.

We are so excited to be launching social skills groups this summer at The Therapy House!

These groups will focus on building:
💬 Friendship skills
🧠 Emotional awareness + regulation
🎯 Problem-solving and flexible thinking
🗣️ Confidence in social situations

We’ll be creating a fun, supportive, and engaging space where kids can learn, practice, and grow, while feeling understood and successful. 💛

If we’ve talked before and you’ve already expressed interest, I’m tagging you below so you don’t miss this!

We’ve had the BEST two weeks getting ready for St. Patrick’s day!

Our kiddos worked so hard designing and building their leprechaun traps, full of creativity, problem solving and a little bit of magic.

And guess what… HE VISTED US!!! He left behind a little bit of glitter, a note and HE EVEN DROPPED HIS HAT!

We were SO close this year, but he was just a little too sneaky, and we didn’t catch him this time…. Maybe next year!

We’re considering starting a **Social Skills Group for students in 5th–8th grade** and are currently gauging interest from families.

As kids get older, social expectations become more complex. Some kids may no longer need individual therapy but still benefit from a supportive space to practice skills like:
• making and maintaining friendships
• starting and holding conversations
• navigating group work
• reading social cues
• perspective-taking

Our goal would be to create a **small, therapist-led group** where kids can build confidence and practice social interaction with peers in a supportive environment.

**Potential details:**
• Grades: 5th–8th
• Fridays
• 1–1.5 hours
• Small group (max 8 kids)
• Estimated cost: $10–$15 per session
