Alexis Sawyer, MA, LLPC
Professional Counselor

Alexis currently practices as a limited licensed counselor (LLC) with Blue Water Counseling. She provides a warm space full of support and comfort that eases her clients when they are in session. Her goal is to make the client feel heard and accepted throughout their journeys of struggle and success. Alexis creates bonds with each client and works around the client’s specific needs. To work with different sets of clients Alexis incorporates various approaches such as person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Northern Michigan University and her Masters of Science in Counseling Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix.

Alexis is happily married and resides in Michigan with her husband, baby, two cats and a dog. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, puzzles, listening to music and going on family walks.
