Bless the Frick Family

Many of you probably already know who Jenn Frick is. She is an amazing woman full of love and grace. Jenn and her family have been through many struggles. Four years ago their son Dylan was diagnosed with a brain tumor. During that time the Fricks took all of their time and money to help Dylan. Dylan return to be with his heavenly Papa only a few months after he was diagnosed.

Since then, Jenn was diagnosed with Chronic Myloid Luekemia. She has been in and out of the hospital for the past 3 years. She has tried 5 different types of chemotherapy but was unable to find anything that could help her maintain a quality of life.

Three months ago Jenn and her family Josh and Lyndi moved to North Bend to live in our home. We felt we could offer a peaceful place for her and her family to be refreshed and help with the physical and emotional healing. When they arrived, they brought a hospital bed, oxygen tank, walker and all the supplies for her to be fed through a tube directly into her stomach. She couldn't eat, she could only walk short distances with a walker, she was only able to sleep in the hospital bed, she had a difficult time even talking.

We have been blessed with the opportunity to share the journey of recovery with them. Since they have moved here, they have gotten rid of the hospital bed, she no longer walks with a walker, she doesn't need to be fed through a tube, and we can see the life coming back stronger and stronger.

They have started doing treatments at a medical facility in Canada. The treatments give her high doses of vitamins through IVs. These treatments have been really helping to improve her quality of life. In order to continue with the treatments we are trying to raise money to cover some of the costs. They have been unable to work a stable job since Dylan passed away 4 years ago so finances are very difficult for them. Our goal is to have 100 $20/month donations for the next 6 months - 1 year. We are going to make the first 10 donations so we are looking for 90 more.

I cannot even begin to imagine the pain it would be to lose a child, let alone the struggles of fighting for the life of your wife or mother. We know that God has a great plan for all of us and will never leave us alone. Our goal is to help take the financial pressure off of Josh so he can focus on healing himself and caring for his wife and child. We claim that God will provide everything that the Fricks need to overcome and make a full recovery.

All money donated will go directly to the Frick's to help cover the costs associated with the medical treatments and travel costs to get there. Please take the time to pray for them and decide if you are able to contribute to their cause.
