👻🎃Spooky Fun in OT this morning🕷️💀

Happy Halloween from all of us at Northern Pines OT- may your day be filled with silly scares, candy and just the right amount of fright.

What a boo-tastic activity to start the morning. We definitely got creative and the finished products were
spook-tacular!

‼️We worked on executive functioning skills (planning, organizing, task initiation, attention, working memory, and time management to name a few), visual-motor skills, bilateral coordination, fine motor skills, and motor planning.✍🏼⏳✂️

Activities like this help build important developmental skills in a fun, festive way.

YAYYY!! It’s occupational therapy (OT) month!

It’s one of my favorite months for so many reasons; warmer weather ☀️, everything blossoming🪻🌱, stroller walks with my kiddos, promoting OT, and Earth Day!

I wanted to reintroduce myself to those of you who do not already know me. My name is Savannah, and I have been an owner of Northern Pines OT for THREE years now! I graduated college from Husson University in 2018.
I have two kiddos, two dogs and an incredibly patient and supportive husband who was so encouragingng during my business start up. 🫶🏻
I enjoy spending time at the lake during the summer months, skiing in the winter and anything artsy/craftys in between with my kids. I love to travel and enjoy planning our next trip. ✈️

Fun facts about me: I started college with the plan to become a Civil Engineer at UMaine, however quickly realized that’s not what I wanted to do. I debated between Architecture and OT. I love to draft house blueprints and enjoy interior design. ✍🏼 A good thrift find will have me excited for days and sewing is a new hobby! 🪡
