and incisions are necessary to remove excess tissue after repositioning and tightening the underlying muscle layer.

Notice how the incisions are on this male patient, two months following the surgery. As time goes on, the closure lines fade even more!

𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐲

Blepharoplasty is a surgery that removes or repositions excess skin, muscle, and fat from the upper and lower eyelids to improve the eyes' appearance or correct functional issues. It can be done on both upper and lower eyelids for cosmetic or functional reasons or both.

About the recovery:
➢ Bruising usually lasts 1-2 weeks.
➢ Arnica tablets are recommended to reduce bruising and speed healing.
➢ Patients must limit exposure to sun on the incision sites for 3 weeks and should use sunscreen thereafter.
➢ Patients should avoid strenuous activities for the first few weeks following surgery.
➢ It's important to follow your surgeon's post-operative instructions to minimize the risk of complications and to ensure proper healing.

She's not my patient, but I think this is an interesting topic.

𝐎𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐲 (𝐄𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠)

Otoplasty is a surgical procedure that is used to correct the appearance of the ears. It can be used to change the size or shape of the ears or to set prominent ears back closer to the head.

The procedure is usually performed on an outpatient basis and typically takes a few hours to complete. Recovery from otoplasty can take several weeks, and patients may need to wear a headband or bandage to protect the ears during the healing process.

Some of the benefits are:
