After graduating at the top of her Dental School class, she completed 2 years of additional Dental Residency training in Advanced dental techniques and on dental patients with complex medical conditions. She then held the Assistant Directorship of General Practice Residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a similar teaching position at Nova South Eastern University. What looks like a tiny black spot on your tooth could be much bigger than it seems.
Cavities often start small on the surface — just a tiny speck. But underneath? They can spread deep into the tooth and even reach the nerve. 😱 That’s when pain hits and a root canal might be needed.

This is why routine checkups (and x-rays!) matter so much. Cavities don’t always hurt until it’s too late.
