Department of National Security (DHS) spokesperson Kristi Noem, announced the end of Temporary Protection Status (TPS) for citizens of Honduras and Nicaragua, effective in 60 days. This means beneficiaries of these countries will lose their authorization to work and stay legally in the U.S. UU. , unless they qualify for another form of migration protection.

It is important that citizens of these countries consult with a lawyer as soon as possible to avoid being deported.
