As I prepare to say goodbye to sunny Florida, a place that has been my home for the past 15 years, I find myself reflecting on the countless precious memories made here. This land has not only been the stage of my life but also a witness to my growth. I am deeply grateful for every friend, teacher, colleague, patient, and student I have met along the way. It is your companionship that has filled this journey with warmth, your support that has helped me grow, and your kindness and smiles that have made this place my second home.

Now, the train of life is moving forward to its next destination—Portland. Though parting is near, I truly believe that goodbyes are not the end, but the beginning of new encounters. May our paths cross again one day, in a warm and meaningful moment, as we continue to write new chapters together!

Fifth-generation practitioner, educator, and author will oversee the College of Classical Chinese Medicine curriculum and clinical education, effective April 14.

I submitted the recorded lecture for the ASA Pre-Conference Webinar, introducing the research methods of Social & Health Studies of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SHSTCM) as an interdisciplinary field. Interestingly, on the very same day, I received a publication notification from Medical Acupuncture, confirming that my article would soon be published. What makes this even more remarkable is that the article itself was written using SHSTCM research methods. This seamless alignment between academic exchange and research publication is truly exciting!

Undeniably, we are stepping into the era of artificial intelligence. In the video, I experimented with Sora to generate the images of the twelve zodiac animals. While the "Dragon" may not fully align with its legendary depiction, the rest of the animals are so lifelike that they could almost pass for the real thing. What opportunities and challenges will the AI era bring us? Let’s look forward to it together! Wishing everyone a joyful and prosperous New Year in 2025!

Thank you to the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine for sharing the overseas educational trip information with their community. Jung Tao is an exceptional school located in North Carolina, known for its beautiful campus and welcoming faculty and staff. The study environment is vibrant, with faculty actively engaging with students and fostering discussions on various topics related to Chinese Medicine as part of their professional development.
