Yoga with Koa

Yoga with Koa Private and semi private yoga lessons are available. Private sessions are tailored per individual.

Classes are designed to challenge each student wherever they may be on their yoga journey, beginning with the basics of alignment and offering moderate to advanced variations. Along with the big emphasis on alignment cues, classes are also accompanied with hands on adjustments. Privates lessons are offered which will be constructed on an individual basis to complement each particular need.

It has been such a journey, my love, and I am so blessed and grateful to have you by my side through it all. Through every challenging opportunity, every moment of light and every shadow, we continue to rise, grow, and support one another.

You have been the only person to stand by my side through everything. Not only loving me, but protecting me, supporting me, and challenging me to become the best version of myself each and every day. Words can’t describe how much I appreciate you for bringing me back home to myself and encouraging my authentic self to shine every single day.

It has been hard at times, and there may be more challenges ahead as we walk this human path, but I know we will face them together.

Thank you for everything you have done and for all that you are. I love you with all my heart, all my soul, and all my being — to the moon, to the stars, to the galaxy.

Yes, there may be truth and validity in the actions or errors that affected us—but no matter the circumstances, we are always responsible for our own choices and responses.

Every path holds its own opportunity, and every step forward is ours to take.

Healing isn’t just muscles loosening—it’s rewiring your nervous system and breaking through the stories your body tells when it’s scared.

Tightness in your back isn’t just physical. It’s the weight of stress, fear, and old patterns locked deep in your nervous system—fight or flight stuck on repeat. Those limiting beliefs live in your body before they show up in your mind.

So when you work on backbends, you’re also working on calming the brain, rewiring your response to discomfort, and shifting how you feel progress, not just see it. Visualization and feeling the change before it happens rewires that old stress and opens new pathways.

This is slow, gritty work. It demands patience, presence, and the courage to sit with what’s uncomfortable—physically and emotionally. But every time you push past the tension, you’re telling your body and brain a new story: that you’re safe, that you can expand, and that growth is possible.

In my opinion discipline is choosing long-term alignment over short-term relief. Consistency doesn’t promise instant comfort, it builds unshakable strength.

Quick relief is seductive—it offers an escape, a numbing, a shortcut. But it never lasts. It teaches you to run from discomfort instead of rising through it.

Discipline, on the other hand, is uncomfortable in the beginning but liberating over time. It teaches you to hold your ground. To build. To choose your future self over your current impulse. That’s where real power is, not in how fast you get results, but in how consistently you honor your path when no one’s watching.

Consistency doesn’t care about mood. It’s a quiet agreement you make with your higher self. It’s not flashy, but it’s unstoppable.
