We are dedicated to serving our Individual with Developmental Disabilities. We are here to help you and the people with special needs in your life.

We think of RFTW as the central address for people seeking help with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are located in Florida, but our clients come from all over the US. At RFTW, we specialize in helping extraordinary people lead ordinary lives. What does that mean? It means every child, every adult, should know the joy of friendship, the satisfaction of doing work that is valued, and the comfort of being a loved and important member of a community. For us it starts with a simple philosophy: we carry a sense of responsibility to be the voice of people who don’t have a voice that is heard, to be the advocate for people who are unable to advocate for themselves. Our goal is not only to be voices and advocates, but more importantly, to assist our clients in using their collective voices and becoming their own advocates. Our programs include residential homes, community case management, and employment training. Through everything we do, we are developing life skills and growing friendships. Reflecting on a Year of Service, Impact & Purpose. 💙🌍

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re celebrating a year rooted in what matters most people, purpose, and progress.

At Ready for the World, LLC, our work goes beyond one lane it’s a full circle of care, advocacy, and empowerment across Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

This year, our team remained committed to delivering comprehensive support that meets people where they are and uplifts them through every step of their journey.

✨ Here’s how we showed up in 2025:
• Provided in-home, respite, and personal care services for individuals with developmental disabilities
• Supported families with APD navigation & service approvals through our Family Support Program
• Reached youth with HIV prevention, health education & life skills workshops
• Served our community through homeless outreach & hygiene drives
• Helped veterans through housing referrals and case management
• Sponsored Born on Purpose Brunch, uplifting healing & youth empowerment
• Connected with over 2,000 families during Children’s Day at NSU
• Gave joy to families with our Annual Christmas Toy Drive
• Provided college scholarships and emergency relief to those in need
• Represented small businesses proudly as a City of Fort Lauderdale Pitch Winner
• Continued to grow through mentorship and networking at the Levan Center of Innovation

🌍 World AIDS Day — December 1st

Honoring lives. Raising awareness. Supporting our youth.

Today, Ready for the World, LLC joins the global community in recognizing World AIDS Day — a day to stand together in truth, education, and compassion.

HIV continues to impact youth and young adults at alarming rates, not because of lack of care, but because of lack of knowledge, stigma, and fear. Our mission is to change that.

✨ Prevention is powerful.
✨ Education saves lives.
✨ Support makes the difference.

We believe every young person deserves access to accurate information, judgment-free conversations, and pathways to care, including HIV testing, STI prevention, and connections to PrEP and PEP resources.

Today was a true full-circle moment for Ready for the World, LLC.

We had the honor of returning to Charles Drew Elementary School in Pompano Beach, Florida a school that holds deep roots in our Founder’s personal journey to support the 500 Role Models of Excellence Induction Ceremony.

The highlight of the day was celebrating the remarkable young men who were inducted. Their confidence, leadership, and pride reflect the bright future ahead of them. These students are the reason we continue to show up and invest in our community.

🇺🇸 Veterans Day Grand Opening | A Legacy of Service 🇺🇸

📍 – Veterans Independent Living Facility
🗓️ November 11, 2025 • 11 AM – 4 PM

Today, we proudly opened the doors to our Veterans Independent Living Facility — a place of housing, healing, and honor, named after my great-grandfather Elzy Walton, a proud U.S. veteran who embodied strength, service, and legacy. 🫡

This facility isn’t just a building — it’s a safe, dignified, and supportive environment for veterans in transition, offering stable housing, monthly meals, transportation to appointments, and community-driven support. It is a place to rebuild with respect and independence.

Hosted by Ready for the World, LLC, this grand opening was a heartfelt reminder of why we serve: to restore hope, provide stability, and honor those who have protected our freedom.

Earlier this year at the Born on Purpose Brunch, we were reminded that self-care is mental health in motion. Now, that message continues with this FREE Wellness Workshop presented by Wellness WoRx and the Born On Purpose Project.

This is more than an event — it’s a moment to breathe, reflect, and realign. 💚

Whether you’re a teacher, nurse, first responder, principal, social worker, or community leader, don’t forget to care for you and your family first. We can’t serve from an empty cup.

Sweater Weather is Coming… Let’s Keep Our Neighbors Warm! 🧥❤️

This winter, let’s come together for our next Homeless Outreach Drive.
We are collecting NEW or gently used sweaters to help those in need stay warm.

✨ We’re also accepting:
• Thermal Emergency Blankets (Mylar/Reflective – retains 90% body heat)
• Winter Beanie Hats (New & unworn only)

✅ All donations should be clean, fresh, and folded.

“A Day for Children” Event Recap

What an amazing day! 💙

Today’s A Day for Children event at was a true success — and we’re beyond honored that had the opportunity to be a proud sponsor of such an impactful community initiative!

More than 3,000 families came together to access valuable health screenings, educational resources, and wellness information that can truly change the trajectory of their children’s lives and development. 🩺✨
