Therapists... Please stop checking a box on your profiles that you work with LGBTQIA+ if you know nothing about working with the community. Too often I hear from clients frustrated and overwhelmed in a search for a competent LGBTQIA therapist because every therapist not blatantly homophobic checks the box. An over controlling or protective parent can unintentionally inhibit the confidence and growth of the child into adulthood. I often work with college students struggling with these themes as they are becoming more fully themselves.

Today's project: Sand therapists, I wanted a larger round tray for group work but did not want to spend a fortune. I bought a 36" West Elm round table second hand and added paint and a layer of multiple shades of blues and white resin for the bottom.
