Can you recall how you felt as a child? Remember the excitement, the curiosity, and the delight in simple activities. It was easy to cry, to laugh, or even have a tantrum. You were connected to yourself and the present moment. Your feelings were immediate, spontaneous, and available without having to think about it. Emotions served as a means of communication and evaluation of the environment.

You can have this feeling again. Call Pamela Morgan at (954) 525-8088 and embrace life with a life coach!

Conflict is often the result of those old patterns that surface. Interactions erupt in blame and attack with defense or avoidance. Nothing is resolved causing further distance, anger, and hurt. The beliefs that “intimacy should come naturally”, “the other person should know what he/she is doing to me”; and “I don’t deserve to be treated this way”, invite the lure of an exit from the relationship. There are many forms of disengaging from a relationship ranging from TV and social media, use of substances, to an affair and finally separation/divorce. Developing healthy constructive conflict resolution strategies and learning conflict resolution skills are essential to creating and sustaining intimacy long term. Conflict can become an opportunity to learn and deepen intimacy making the relationship better than ever.

If you want to fall in love again, going to places you’ve never been together before, call Pamela Morgan the couple therapist/coach at (954) 525-8088 to get started on your journey to love!

Having a stress response to challenging circumstances serves an important function for survival. When a threat is perceived from the environment it is advantageous to go into high alert and arousal to give a narrow highly focused attention on that threat to survival. That is when the body reacts with fight/flight/freeze stress responses. But all too often that narrow focus of attention and survival reaction continues as chronic sources of ongoing stress long after the threat is over.

Separation can be difficult, especially in long term relationships of ten or more years. Going out on your own and rebuilding a life can be quite challenging. So ending a relationship can cause questions of who you are, how to spend time, and changes in the social circle. Getting back to an independent and different identity outside of the relationship is critical in adjusting to a breakup. Couple therapy/coaching can help support and guide you through this transition time. Taking the opportunity to look at the relationship and learn about your self as a partner in that relationship can be extremely productive in the healing process as well as beneficial for future relationships.
If you need help ending a relationship, call the couple therapist/coach Pamela Morgan at (954) 525-8088 to guide you through.

According to the Imago therapy approach, chemistry has something to do with an unconscious attraction to someone who fits those old relationship patterns often from childhood. This explains why all too often dating and relationships end up in the same place over and over again. The dating coach can help you to discover those unconscious patterns that seem to be controlling your dating experiences and interfering with achieving a successful relationship.
The dating coach offers a step by step holistic mind/body process that includes: learning the warning signs and red flags to be aware of when meeting someone in consideration of further involvement; effective body language; “conscious dating”; preparation to enter a relationship or “dating for mating”, determining vision, goals, discerning true desires and wants from the dating experience; how to distinguish between love and lust; characteristics of strong healthy relationships and, improving the choice of a partner.
If you want to have a loving intimate partnership and life companion, call Pamela Morgan at (954) 525-8088 to get started on your journey to love!

About Pamela Morgan

Pamela has practiced traditional talk therapy for over 30 years and has over 20 years of experience specializing in body psychotherapy. When she started doing counseling she observed that the traditional approach of talking about feelings did not really reach the complete emotional experience. Through her own personal experience with Radix Body Education, a Neo-Reichian body-oriented approach, she found what she was looking for. She was certified in Radix in 1988. She has developed an experiential body-centered approach in working with couples and relationship issues for personal growth development.

She believes that in order to continue to offer a high level of expertise and intuitive presence as a counselor, therapist and facilitator, ongoing training and personal work is essential. In pursuit of that goal she has received training in EMDR therapy, Imago therapy, Intimacy Training by Doug and Naomi Moseley, and Visionary Craniosacral by Hugh Milne. She has continued to do her own personal growth work. Continuing her own journey, she has also worked with several indigenous shamans in Peru.

She received a Special Service Award from the National Counsel on Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity for her work with people in recovery from addictions. She was profiled in the September 2001 issue of the New Age Journal. She has written numerous professional articles, was the editor of a professional journal and is a speaker. She graduated from the University of Connecticut cm laude with a BA in psychology. Her Master's in Social Work (MSW) is from Barry University. She is licensed in Florida as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
