“I am doing our next statewide Clinical Supervision Training on Thursday, June 23rd from 10:00a to 2:00pm. This will be a virtual training so there are no attendance limits.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Eligibility for this training is based on the following - (1) you have a LCSW with at least three years of post-LCSW experience; (2) if licensed by endorsement, you have worked in NV for at least six months; and (3) Are physically living in NV or a border communities in CA (like Truckee, CA or South Lake Tahoe, CA).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The training allows you to supervise post-graduate clinical and independent interns living in and practicing in Nevada. We do not allow interns to practice across state lines, nor do we allow supervisors to live outside of NV.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We require the training every five years. You will get 4.00 CEUs for attending the training.

Cost of the class is 60.00. Please contact the office at 775-688-2555 to pay for the class. Once you have paid, I will send you a zoom link and the material for the training, electronically.

Per email confirmation received from Nevada, sharing the following:

The April 2020 Nevada issued a “COVID Emergency Medical Directive that allowed medical professionals to practice in Nevada without having a license in” Nevada. Those who obtained the waiver “were granted permission to practice in Nevada without a license”.

“The COVID Emergency Directive is closing on May 20, 2022. At this time, the Board will need you to either become licensed to practice in Nevada or to stop any practice with clients in our state. If you chose not to become licensed in NV, you will have 60 days (July 20, 2022) to close your practice in our state.”

If you continue to practice in Nevada, then you must obtain a license or discontinue your practice in Nevada.

Navada has also streamlined its licensing process and applications now typically take 30 days.
