The Fort Lauderdale Community Development Corporation (FLCDC) has been awarded $278,600 through the City of Fort Lauderdale’s State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) program!
This critical funding will support the rehabilitation of five affordable housing properties in Northwest Fort Lauderdale — ensuring safer, more sustainable living environments for our residents.
As a trusted Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) for over 30 years, FLCDC continues to lead with purpose, promoting housing equity and building stronger neighborhoods.

Florida's Governor has signed Executive Order 20-315 which outlines that providers can only administer the COVID-19 vaccine to the following groups:

– Long-term care facility residents and staff.
– Persons 65 years of age and older.
– Health care personnel with direct patient contact.
– Persons deemed to be extremely vulnerable to COVID-19 by hospital providers.
