The F.L.C.D.C’s purpose is to increase affordable housing, identify and implement economic development and alleviate poverty in the Northwest section of Fort Lauderdale, as well as serve as an advocate for the residents of this targeted section. The F.L.C.D.C is a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) designation by the City of Fort Lauderdale.
