May is National Stop the Bleed Month
As we close National Stop the Bleed Month, it’s important to remember that bleeding emergencies can happen anywhere — at home, at work or school, on the road, at the gym, or in public spaces.
During a trauma emergency involving severe bleeding, bystanders are often the first people in a position to help. Knowing how to act quickly can make the difference between life and death before professional first responders arrive.
National Stop the Bleed Month is a reminder that lifesaving skills should not be limited to medical professionals. With the right training, everyday people can learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding, apply pressure, use a tourniquet when appropriate, and respond with confidence when every second matters.
At Vital AED, we believe preparedness saves lives. CPR, AED, first aid, and bleeding control training give you the tools to step in, take action, and help save a life.
Be prepared. Be confident. Be ready to respond.
