AMR Broward participated in a large‑scale simulated airport accident Thursday night at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, joining partner agencies from across the region for a full‑scale emergency exercise.

The scenario involved a collision between a landing aircraft and a taxiing aircraft, resulting in 200 simulated victims.

Training on this scale strengthens coordination, communication, and readiness across all responding agencies. BSO Fire Rescue served as the lead agency. Several other participating agencies from across Broward County provided aid and assistance. It was a valuable experience working alongside our regional partners, airport operations, and emergency teams to ensure we’re prepared for real‑world aviation emergencies.
