These pups and their dedicated humans bring warmth, joy and a sense of ease to patients and families. Their presence can be especially meaningful for hospice patients, offering emotional, physical and psychological comfort during tender moments.

There is something special about the way a soft nuzzle or gentle cuddle can brighten a room. Families often share how these visits help create memories that feel comforting and supportive.

The Miami Herald recently highlighted our partnership with Valentines By Kids , a community effort that brought heartfelt moments to hospice patients across Miami‑Dade.

This past , more than 9,000 handmade cards were delivered to patients in their homes and senior living communities.

Each card was created by local children and families and carried a simple but powerful message of kindness and care.

At , we believe meaningful moments matter, especially during serious illness. This partnership reflects our commitment to compassionate care, community connection and honoring the dignity of every person we serve.

Sometimes the most meaningful celebrations start with a simple idea.💜 In , FL, our team helped create a heartfelt birthday moment for our patient Gloria, who has always loved bunnies.

Her volunteer, Jake, knew this about her and wanted to make her birthday truly special by arranging a visit from a real bunny.

He shared the idea with our team, and with support from Corporate team member Damaris, everyone worked quickly to make it happen.

Before long, a sweet and gentle bunny named Mochi arrived to help Gloria celebrate.🐰

The joy on Gloria’s face said everything. It reminded us how powerful it can be when people come together to honor the comforts that matter most.✨

After nearly 40 years at , Senior Medical Director Dr. Joel Policzer still feels he has the best job in the world. His reason for staying is simple. It is the people.💜

Dr. Policzer joined our team in 1985 and has supported patients and families through some of life’s most important moments.
