I assigned this Liver Qigong as homework for one of my patients, and I’m posting it here so she can follow along - but anyone feeling stressed, tense, or burned out can benefit too.
Liver Qigong helps move stuck energy that builds up from emotional stress.
On a physiological level, the slow, rhythmic movement and deep breathing help regulate the nervous system — shifting the body out of fight-or-flight and into a calmer, more balanced state.
Quick Tips:
Practice on the right side only.

🪴As you push the energy out through the big toe, direct it toward a plant or any piece of wood (even furniture works).
🚫🙅🏻♀️ Avoid facing another person or animal - you’re releasing the Liver’s built-up energy outward, and it’s meant to go into nature, not another living being.
✨ Post walk is also complimentary to the exercise.
