LCHD Immunization Clinic is scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 1:00-4:30pm at LCHD (5001 Avenue 0) in Fort Madison. The clinic is open to children who have no insurance, are insured by Iowa Medicaid or those who have private insurance that doesn't cover vaccines. Lead testing available. Appointment are recommended, and to schedule an appointment please call 319-372-5225.

Long hours in the field mean extra sun exposure—protect your skin while planting.

· Sunscreen: broad spectrum SPF 30+, reapply every 2 hours or after heavy sweating.

· Clothing: long sleeves, long pants, and UPF rated shirts; wide brim hat for face, ears, neck.

· Eyes: sunglasses that block UVA/UVB.

· Breaks: take shade breaks and drink water often.
