Our Birkwood Village memory care residents started their day the best way possible: moving, stretching, and staying active together. Daily exercise isn’t just good for the body—it lifts spirits, sparks connection, and helps our residents thrive in meaningful ways.

We’re hosting a special Bridge to Memories Support Group meeting this evening with Andria Cain, who will be presenting Dementia Live—an immersive, eye‑opening experience designed to help us better understand the challenges of living with dementia. It’s a powerful way to build empathy and strengthen the support we offer our loved ones.

💕💖All of us at Birkwood Village are feeling incredibly loved as we head into Valentine’s Day.

💐A heartfelt thank you to Lee County Floral for continuing their beautiful tradition of Acts of Kindness and sharing lovely flowers with our residents. Your generosity brightened every hallway and heart.

We’re also grateful to the thoughtful students from Holy Trinity Catholic School who created sweet Valentine cards for each resident, and to West Burlington Elementary students who made extra-special Valentines for our veterans.

Because of our caring staff in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, skilled rehab, and ventilator care there truly are no lonely hearts at Birkwood Village.

Thank you for surrounding all of us with kindness, connection, and so much love. 💖❤️💕
