Your reactions are not random. They are protective.

Sometimes your body moves into fight, flight, freeze, or fawn before your mind has time to catch up. And while those responses are designed to keep you safe, many of us were never taught how to understand them, regulate them, or respond with intention.

That is exactly why we created Connect With Your Inner Protector 🛡️

This 2 hour women only workshop combines nervous system education with hands on self defense using gentle exposure. You will learn how to recognize your triggers, understand your body’s stress responses, and build confidence in how you respond emotionally and physically when it matters most.

Jax will guide the hands on self defense portion, focusing on body awareness, boundaries, and practical defensive skills in a supportive environment.

Lindsay will guide participants through identifying triggers and understanding fight, flight, freeze, and fawn while teaching regulation tools to help you respond with clarity and intention.

This is not a therapy session. This is an educational and skill based experience designed to help you feel informed, empowered, and connected to your inner sense of safety.

You can’t build a life that fits you if you don’t know what you’re building it on.

Most of us make decisions based on what we think we should want, what looks impressive, or what feels safe, without ever stopping to ask what actually matters to us.
And then we wonder why we feel disconnected from our own lives. Why everything looks right on paper but feels wrong. Why we’re successful in ways that don’t actually fulfill us.

It’s because we’re building on borrowed values instead of our own.

Your values are your foundation. They’re what makes something feel meaningful to you. They’re your compass when you don’t know which way to go.

Here’s how to start identifying yours:
Ask yourself: “What do I want to feel more of in my life?”

Not what you want to have, do, or accomplish. What you want to FEEL.
Connection? Freedom? Purpose? Security? Growth? Peace? Creativity?

Your answer points to your values. And once you know what you value, decisions get clearer.

Value’s aren’t goals.

Goals are things you achieve. Values are how you want to feel and what you want more of in your life.

Freedom is a value. Taking a specific trip is a goal.

Goals are things you achieve. Values are how you want to feel and what you want more of in your life.

Freedom is a value. Taking a specific trip is a goal.

Connection is a value. Making three new friends is a goal.

Growth is a value. Learning Spanish is a goal.

Creativity is a value. Writing a novel is a goal.

You can accomplish all your goals and still feel empty if they’re not aligned with your values.

You can check everything off your list and still feel directionless if you don’t know what you’re building toward.

This is why people get the promotion, the relationship, the achievement they’ve been chasing, and still feel unfulfilled.

Because they’ve been optimizing for the wrong thing.

Your values are your compass. They tell you which goals are worth pursuing and which ones will just drain you.

So before you set another goal, ask yourself: What do I actually value? What do I want more of in my life?
Then build from there.

You can't build a life that fits you if you don't know what you're building it on.

Most of us make decisions based on what we think we should want, what looks impressive, what feels safe, what other people expect, without ever stopping to ask what actually matters to us.
