Say hello to our friend Huntleigh! He has been attending speech therapy with our ST Sarah for several years. He’s improved on a variety of goals involving language, literacy, and speech skills. After all his hard work every session, Huntleigh has officially graduated from speech therapy! We all are beyond proud of him! 💚🖤💚

Beth graduated PT today after 2 knee replacements and is thrilled with her progress, able to get on and off the floor, take care of her kids, is painfree, and stronger than ever! She is looking forward to tackling her neck and back pain next with Elite!

🎉 Big congratulations to Hannah, who found out yesterday that she passed her OCS! ✨

An Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) is a physical therapist who is board-certified by the APTA, demonstrating advanced clinical knowledge and experience in orthopedic care. Only about 6% of physical therapists nationwide hold this certification.

At Elite in South Carolina, we have 15 physical therapists with their OCS. We are committed to supporting our clinicians in pursuing advanced certifications and continuing to grow in their professional practice.

Here Michelle, one of our physical therapists enrolled in Elite’s Orthopedic Residency Program is assessing the sacroiliac joint with her mentor. Residents in this program attend live courses and receive 1:1 mentorship hours over a 13 month period. Our mission is to advance orthopedic physical therapy practice, by enhancing clinical reasoning, knowledge and skills of residency-trained physical therapists to help create leaders in our field, working toward improving the quality of physical therapy offered to the communities we serve.
