STOP the straight-sets approach!! Incorporate circuits, dropsets, and supersets! THIS WORKS! It helps to keep your heart rate high!

CUT YOUR REST INTERVALS
Catching your breath for extended periods between sets isn't going to work if your aim is fat loss. I see people in the gym just standing there...too long! THAT is why I LOVE classes and why most people in our classes...are lean. We don't mess around! Resting more than 30 seconds between any set allows the burn phase to lapse.

(HIT) THOSE CARDIO MACHINES
High-intensity training!! YES! ON YOUR CARDIO MACHINE! And you don't have to JUMP!!! HIT, burns a slew of calories, alternate all-out sprints or explosive squats with recovery periods, it's been shown to boost post-exercise calorie burn for up to 24 hours, it burns more calories in less time and can build muscle and more muscle equals more calorie expenditure and FAT BURN!!
HIIT TIP: To ensure that high-intensity intervals don't gobble up circulating amino acids in your bloodstream intended for muscle repair and building I suggests a BCAA supplement especially if you prefer fasted morning cardio.

TIME YOUR CARB COASTERING
Cycling your carbohydrate intake, in which you reduce your consumption of carbs to fairly low levels, 0-50 g per day for 1-3 days, followed by a high-carb day, is a common approach in successful fat-loss programs. I use the LOW-MED-HIGH carb day coastering..TRY IT
I use the higher-carb days to coincide with my hardest workouts.

It is NOT realistic if you have a family to remove all foods from your home. SO create YOUR own SAFE SHELF in the pantry and fridge!!! Many people have a difficult time with temptation and moderation. This method works well for me, if I do get a little 'snacky' I have go-to options READY!!

I set my intention days ago to attend a workout with FiA Fort Mill. I showed up and was not disappointed. Monique Williams Q’d and worked our butts!

Paying attention to Beth Bolus make breakfast, and craving my meal plan that helped me reach 165, I came home and made egg whites and fresh veg, high in protein and packed with nutrients.

Lots of water and a long walk later today. Mondays sure feel good!

Someone suggested I change my profile pic to better associate with my small businesses. Under different circumstances, I probably would.

But Lahaina is more than different. My spirit is deeply affected by this tragedy, for reasons I don’t fully understand.

I cannot bring myself to change my profile picture. I know too many things and believe strongly in the awakening that is taking place as a result of this massacre.

Lahaina triggered something in me and in the world at large. I won’t change my profile pic until Lahaina and it’s people are redeemed.
