Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS) affects 1 in 10 women worldwide, yet so many go undiagnosed. PCOS is more than irregular cycles — it can impact fertility, hormones, metabolism, skin, and mental health.

📜 New Certification Unlocked!
I’m proud to share that I’ve completed the Unexplained Child Death Investigations training presented by Catania Training & Development, LLC and hosted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

This specialized training deepened my understanding of infant and child death investigations, focusing on trauma-informed approaches, scene analysis, and multi-disciplinary collaboration. As a public health professional and Safe Sleep Ambassador, I’m committed to using this knowledge to advocate for safer environments for our most vulnerable populations.

Thank you to Jo M. Catania and the GBI for offering this impactful opportunity.

This means I’m equipped to provide families and caregivers with life-saving education on safe sleep practices to help prevent infant sleep-related deaths like SIDS.

Whether you're a parent, caregiver, or part of a support organization, I’m here as a resource and advocate for safe and healthy beginnings.

Let’s work together to protect our littlest ones—because every baby deserves a safe place to sleep.

May is Preeclampsia Awareness Month

Preeclampsia is a serious pregnancy complication that affects 1 in 25 pregnancies in the U.S. It can happen without warning and, if left untreated, can lead to life-threatening complications for both mom and baby.

As caregivers, professionals, and community advocates, we must raise awareness, recognize the warning signs, and empower families with knowledge.

Know the Signs:
High blood pressure
Swelling in face or hands
Severe headaches
Blurry vision or seeing spots
Sudden weight gain
Upper abdominal pain

Your voice can help save lives. Let’s spread the word and support expecting families with compassion and care.
