Things don’t always happen in the timing we want, but they always happen in the timing God wants. Sometimes we get frustrated, discouraged, and wonder why things aren’t moving the way we planned. But we have to remember that God sees what we cannot see. He knows what we’re not ready for yet, what we need to grow through, and what He is protecting us from.

Everything is not about our timing, our plans, or our understanding. It’s about trusting God’s plan even when we don’t understand it.
Scripture: “He has made everything beautiful in its time.”

Trust the timing. Trust the process. Trust God.

This Women’s History Month, we celebrate Santressa Mercedes Sampson, a passionate public health advocate and champion for maternal and infant wellness. Serving as Chair of Women in the NAACP (WIN) for the Phenix City–Russell County Unit, Santressa is committed to improving outcomes for women, infants, and families in our community. As the founder of Gifted by Grace Doula Services, she provides vital education, advocacy, and support for mothers throughout pregnancy and postpartum. Through her professional work, graduate research, and community outreach, Santressa continues to raise awareness around safe sleep education, maternal health equity, and infant mortality prevention. Her dedication to empowering families with knowledge and support reflects the true spirit of service and impact we celebrate this month.

Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS) affects 1 in 10 women worldwide, yet so many go undiagnosed. PCOS is more than irregular cycles — it can impact fertility, hormones, metabolism, skin, and mental health.

📜 New Certification Unlocked!
I’m proud to share that I’ve completed the Unexplained Child Death Investigations training presented by Catania Training & Development, LLC and hosted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

This specialized training deepened my understanding of infant and child death investigations, focusing on trauma-informed approaches, scene analysis, and multi-disciplinary collaboration. As a public health professional and Safe Sleep Ambassador, I’m committed to using this knowledge to advocate for safer environments for our most vulnerable populations.
