Sometimes things can be scary. For some older adults, having a caregiver in their home can make them a little anxious. The unknown can cause many reactions inside of us.

I felt all of these feelings today when I held an animal that has always scared me.

What we often find out though, is that in our minds, we made it bigger than we needed to and that the reality of that situation is really not so scary.

Meat fern! She was really the sweetest thing once I had her in my arms.
