My sweet Lillianna! This was quite the journey for both of us. She came to me with some mild acne but has dealt with it on & off for years.

We got her clear & then her skin wanted to play a game on us and she experienced some Malassezia folliculitis (a yeast that naturally lives on the skin) very similar to fungal acne & then we had to rework the skin care treatment & products plan. I referred her out to a local dermatologist to get their perspective. It’s important to partner with other providers.

I changed up her skin care regimen, she adjusted her diet (thank you auntie Brandi) and BAM look at her skin 😍

Acne & skin is NOT a one size fits all. Looking at all triggers, changing and testing different products & treatments. Above all consistency gets you to the finish line.

ROSACEA— the absolute hardest skin condition to treat and manage but with just SKINCARE- we did it 👏🏻

Rosacea is a chronic inflammation disorder. There are four main types of Rosacea. Rosacea cannot be cured, but it can be managed. So many factors trigger Rosacea and trying to figure out which ones affect you, is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. It’s tough. But starting out with good product tailored to Rosacea skin is the first step.

We switched her entire skin care routine- we added in more anti-inflammatory, hydrating, soothing, and barrier support and barrier repairing products. Once we repaired her barrier, we then added in exfoliants — low & slow.

Not only did we reduce an extreme amount of redness in her skin, but we also healed her cystic breakouts and stopped any new ones from coming in. We were also able to treat the breakouts accordingly so she did not scar.

There is so much that goes into creating a customized regimen based off the skin concern. It’s never going to be a one and done situation.

This sweet girl has a wedding coming up and I am so proud of her for trusting the process.

We aren’t done but this is a great progress!

Starting this year off with another acne slay!

She has a mixed regimen of Glymed + & Face Reality & she has been doing DMK Enzyme Therapy Treatments.

One of the biggest changes she had was lifestyle changes. She dedicates herself to CrossFit & better eating habits.

This type of acne is pesky & takes lot of patience. We call them closed comedomes & they are deep under the skin. So it takes time + consistency.

This was truly a team duo! I gave her the tools + guidance & she worked hard & stayed consistent.
