UPDATE
Devon has been released finally from hospital and physical theapry. This kid continues to amaze me and everyone else. If I was told this is where life would take us all, I would be in disbelief. Tragedy really brings out the real sides of people. Family is forever, despite the small fall outs, disagreements and disappointments. We all know we love one another and are united and . Welcome home Devon your a reminder to many everyday that prayer is real and wirhput a doubt powerful. Make this second chance at life worth it everyday. Your hand picked for greatness 🙌.

UPDATE:
HE'S COMING HOME!!
I talked with Devon yesterday and it made my day seeing him smile and just excited for another day. When this first happened I would have never imagined I, we, all of us, could witness the true meaning of faith and the overhwlemeing power of prayer. Devon Burger, you have been given a gift and to see everyday the positivity you radiate had been inspiring. I don't know of many young teenagers that have gone through such a tragic situation and made it a lesson not a sentencing. No one in this group of friends now become family, can ever again say they haven't witnessed a miracle. As emotionally debilitating the journey has been up until now, I can say I'm blessed I was able to be a part of your story. I can't give you an exact number of people in which lives you've changed, but I know undoubtedly, it's an overhwleming amount. It's not because you were on the brink of death that your story has purpose, it's the fight to survive and come out with the positivity you have. You have beamed all around you. Because of you I will never look at a situation with negativity first or base judgement upon first glance, you have beat odds that were against you and done with it such grace and gratitude 🙏 you make me want to be humble, forgiving, and you have been my validation that with God, all things are truly possible. Keep up the good fight kid and always remember your tragedy and your journey is helping those you don't even realize. I'm so proud of you and so blessed to have all of you a part of my life. Welcome back kid. See you when you get HOME !!!

The last few days have been a rollercoaster of events and emotions. I want to share the DevonStrong movement with the world. It's already traveled so far, and I'm mind blown at how much support our boy has received, he's a miracle. I can't help but wonder how many other people have been affected by similar situations and seeking closure and finding justice for loved ones involved in tragic motorcycle accidents. I want to make Devons story heard and remembered. When we started DevonStrong i saw just how amazing our community is and how we all can come together and support a common cause. My hope is to make shirts and car decal/stickers to represent 🙌. When someone see's it on a back window or on a shirt 👕, I want them to know this kids strength and will to survive. For it to be a support system to any and all struggling family members, friends, or even the victims of a motorcycle accident, thay they are not alone.I want to illustrate how the uniting of strangers and a town in whole came together to do one thing and that was to be !!!.

Any and all money raised/donated from the purchasing of these products will go straight to Devon and his road to recovery. I want to try and make his road ahead as smooth as I can, it's how I can contribute to the cause and spread his name, because it's made it to places I would have never imagined already. If we can help one person out there struggling or feeling defined by there accident then I will feel fulfilled and blessed .

If anyone and everyone could, please send in a message any pictures you may have with Devon, it will be greatly appreciated. Emily will be using these to create a board for devons room at the hospital to help him with his everyday recovery. The board will serve as a reminder to how many people love and care for him and are here to support him. And it will also keep him in good thoughts.
