🚨Story Time…
I first practiced Kundalini Yoga in 2017 after a heartbreak. One of the biggest heartbreaks of my life. Not about a boyfriend but a child. I had been practicing yoga since 2006 and in 2017 I finally met God in my yoga practice. Kundalini Yoga has a way of showing up in divine timing and the orchestra of movements, pranayam, mantras, and meditation gave me a high my runs couldn’t compete with. I began to swap out my two mile runs for breath of fire. I was hooked. I also just dropped out of college for elementary education just shy of graduating and was wondering what the hell I was doing with my life. Everything was going up in flames and yet I still believed in miracles and was starting to get serious about shadow work, manifestation, and growth. This practice has been my lifesaver and life changer. It continued to show up in divine timing when I was embarking my 200 hour and now 300 hour teacher training with , again involving a child 🥹
I’m still shy about many chapters of my story but thanks to this practice and my amazing teacher, , I’m feeling more bold about who I am and the disservice of hiding in the shadows. Kundalini Yoga was pretty popular in Chicago where I first tried it, at a studio called Sat Nam in the West Loop. Here in Fort Myers, FL, not so much. Let it be known 🗣️ I’m gonna change that though ❤️🔥
