Our Fort Myers location has a 1.5 Tesla MRI with a wide bore. This is a high field MRI. This means that it is more “roomy” and less claustrophobic than a traditional MRI. It has an extra 8 inches on each side of the patient (16 extra inches total) so patients feel more comfortable. This machine will finish most scans in under 12 minutes.
Our Fort Myers location also has a state of the art digital x-ray machine. It has a very low amount of radiation compared to most other x-ray machines in the area.
Before you get an x-ray with the 20 year old machine at your primary care doctor’s office, ask them to send you to our center instead. We are open Monday to Friday and provide boutique style service and quality. Give us a call to make an appointment, we also offer free transportation.
